FRIDAY: TIM DOHERTY DIABETES COMMUNITY EVENT

Tim Doherty is hosting a Diabetes Community Event in the Bolero Suite at the Motorpoint Arena after our game with Fife Flyers this Friday (13th March).
The Panthers forward has Type 1 Diabetes and the event is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with diabetes or has been affected by diabetes.
Doherty said: "This is something I have been thinking about ever since I joined the Panthers.
"Millions of people around the world have diabetes and I am keen to share my experiences of managing diabetes while playing for the Panthers.
"I was able to meet a pro hockey player when I was first diagnosed with diabetes and it inspired me that diabetes can’t hold me back from anything.
"Everyone has a different story to tell and I just felt it was important we all got together to share our experiences."
The event will take place after our game with Fife on Friday.
Please note there will be a short delay while Tim changes and has his post-game meal but proceedings will get under way as quickly as possible.
