Nottingham Panthers travel south to face Guildford Flames in the Challenge Cup on Sunday night (18:00 face-off).

The battle is really hotting up in Group A with just one point separating second to fifth and only a four-point spread from first to sixth.

Panthers and Guildford are currently locked on five points each from five matches with both having two wins to their name so far in the group stages.

It's the second meeting between the two sides in Group A this season after Guildford skated to an impressive 4-1 victory in Nottingham two weeks ago.

Last night, Panthers beat Coventry Blaze 4-3 in the cup thanks to goals from Darick Louis-John, Joe Hazeldine, Ben Corbeil and Zach O'Brien.

Guildford beat Manchester 4-3 in Motorpoint Elite League action as Josh Waller scored the game-winner with under 12 minutes remaining.

View from the Bench
Panthers Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Guildford are a good side, especially in their building, and we know what to expect.

"I was happy with some aspects of Saturday night against Coventry but we still have things we need to do better.

"We will need to be better again against the Flames if we're going to get a result."
