It's another sold-out Motorpoint Arena as Nottingham Panthers host Guildford Flames in the Elite League (16:00 face-off).

The game - which is sponsored by Nottingham City Council Parking Services - is the second meeting between the two sides in Nottingham this season.

Panthers skated to a remarkable 6-5 success in the Challenge Cup group stages back in September. Chase Pearson scored a hat-trick, Mitch Fossier netted twice and there was also a goal for Cooper Zech.

Danny Stewart's side are top of the Elite League with 34 points from 20 matches - two points clear of both second-placed Sheffield Steelers and third-placed Cardiff Devils.

Guildford - who currently sit seventh in the table - were in action last night as they lost 2-1 at home to Coventry Blaze after a penalty shootout.

Team News in association with Candid Digital
Panthers continue to have some injury concerns and the full line-up will be announced ahead of face-off.

View from the Bench
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Guildford have a lot of speed and skill - and have three lines that score and can hurt you. They play with pace and a bit of freedom. They have creative guys. We have to manage the puck and limit turnovers.

"Playing with the puck is important against the Flames and forcing them to defend. They're a good team and a lot of better than where they are in the standings right now. They went through some injury turmoil at the start of the year. I am expecting a very tought night."
