Nottingham Panthers host Manchester Storm in the opening Motorpoint Elite League game of the season (19:00 face-off).

Panthers go into the game on the back of a hard-fought game in Cardiff last night where an empty-net goal secured the Devils a 5-3 victory.
Tim Doherty, Ben Corbeil and Zach O'Brien scored for the Panthers, while netminder Kai Edmonds make his first start of the season.
Manchester had midweek action in the Motorpoint Elite League as they secured a 2-1 win over Glasgow Clan at the AO Arena.
Brandon Cutler and Joseph Nardi scored for the Storm as Cam Critchlow's side secured two vital league points.

Tram strike
Travel to the arena will be affected with no trams running all day because of strike action by staff at Nottingham Express Transit. Click here for more information on the NET website.

The Panthers Vault - in association with Interseal - is now up to a huge £2,500. Tickets cost just £1 and if your number is drawn out of the hat, you go on the ice with MC Ken Feast to try to crack the code. Choose one of the players from the Panthers roster shown on the jumbotron to reveal a four-digit code and see if it unlocks the vault. Chuck-a-Puck - sponsored by Motorpoint - is great fun for all the family. It takes place in the second intermission and the winner is the person who lands their puck closest to Paws at centre-ice. The winner gets a photo with their favourite player at the end of the game and a signed puck. There's a bonus prize too! A remote control car drives around the centre-circle. If your puck lands inside the cockpit of the car, you have a chance to win two tickets to an event at the Motorpoint Arena. Pucks cost £1 each and are on sale from sellers around the rink.

There's two chances to win in our Shirt Off His Back. The game-worn jerseys of #2 Darick Louis-Jean and #21 Matt Alfaro can be won in the rink this evening. Tickets are only £1 each and available from sellers around the rink and in the foyer.
