The Nottingham Panthers have massive game in the playoff chase with a trip to Scotland to face Fife Flyers (7:30pm face-off).

Victory for the Panthers will close the gap on eighth-placed Coventry Blaze to four points, with the two sides meeting in Nottingham on Saturday.

A win for Fife would put them four points clear of ninth-placed Dundee Stars.

The last time the two sides met in Kirkcaldy saw 16 goals with the hosts just edging a 9-7 victory, with Simon Després and Logan Neilson scoring their first goals for the Panthers.

Myles McGurty, who missed the second and third periods in Cardiff, will ice tonight after being given the all-clear by the medical staff,
