The IIHF have announced the full line-up for the 2025-26 Continental Cup and have confirmed Nottingham Panthers will join at the semi-final stage.

It's the 28th edition of the European tournament and it begins in mid-October with eight teams contesting the first round.

The eight sides are HK Mogo (LAT), Budapest JAHC (HUN), ACS Gyergyoi (ROU), HC Kremenchuk (UKR), Hockey Punks (LTU), KHL Sisak (CRO), Crvena Zvezda (SRB) and Narva (EST).

Panthers enter the competition in semi-final stage and will be joined by GKS Katowice (POL), Herning Blue Fox (DEN), Ducs D’Angers (FRA), Torpedo Ust-Kaminogorsk (KAZ) and SC Cortina (ITA).

The dates, venues and groups will be announced in due course.

The Grand Final takes place in January 2026.

Panthers have a proud tradition with the Continental Cup and became the first UK team to win the trophy back in 2016-17.

After three wins from three in the second round in Jaca in Spain, Panthers also finished top of the group in the third round in Odense, Denmark.

Panthers secured the trophy in the final in January 2017 in Ritten, Italy which saw wins over Odense Bulldogs (2-0), Beibarys Atyrau (3-2) and Ritten Sport (4-1).
