Our Kids Takeover Game is fast approaching and it's time to send in your applications for some crucial matchnight roles.
Panthers host Cardiff Devils on Sunday 25th October (16:00 face-off) and some of the night will be run by young people.
We're excited to be hosting our first-ever Kids Takeover and this is an amazing opportunity to be involved in various parts of our matchnight operation.
Applicants much be aged between six and sixteen and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The roles available are:
Head Coach
Danny Stewart has won three trophies in two seasons since joining the club, so he's a tough act to follow. Read out the Starting Six and you'll be interviewed by Sam Hurst at the end of the first period.
MC (Master of Ceremonies)
There's no-one better in the Elite League than our very own Ken Feast. Work with Ken and build the excitement in the crowd.
In the crowd with Sam Hurst
One of most interactive parts of the night is when Sam Hurst goes into the arena bowl, whether it's to give away prizes or to work with the crowd to make that famous Panthers roar! Here's your chance to work with Sam and get right amongst the #PanthersNation.
Announcer
Our long-time announcer Stef Litchfield is the best in the business. Anyone who has been to a Panthers game will know his voice. Here's your chance to announce some of the goals and penalties on the night.
Commentary Team
Jono Bullard and Dan Green commentate on all Panthers home games. Take up this option and you'll join the commentary team and give your insight on the game.
Social Media
Sophie Rouse is one of the busiest people on gamenight, bringing all the action on and off the ice to life on our social media. Join the media team and shoot some video for our social media.
Ice Crew x2
Work with our ice crew to clear up the hundreds of Chuck-a-Pucks in the second intermission. This is a vital job as not only do you have to be able to skate, you have to work at speed to ensure the ice is clear to allow the zamboni to cut the ice.
Front of House x2
So many jobs go on around the foyer and on the concourse on a gameday. It's a vital role to keep everything running smooth. Meeting guests at the VIP desk, greeting new members of Paws Club and selling tickets for our various competitions. You need to enjoy meeting people and be outgoing for this very important role. There's so much to do, we'll be choosing two from all the applicants.

Applications are open now and will close at 23:59 on Sunday 18th October 2026.
Successful applicants to be informed by 17:00 on Tuesday 20th October 2026.
Please note that photography and videos may be taken of the winners undertaking their roles which would be used on our website and social media.
If you do not wish you or a member of your family to have their photo taken or be on video, please make this known to a member of staff on the day.
