LINTON GRANT A GUEST AT EVENING OF SPORT

Assistant Coach Linton Grant was a guest speaker at the Rutland & Stamford Sound's Evening of Sport on Thursday night.

Hosted in the beautiful town of Stamford at the Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre, stars from across the world of sport shared their experiences and stories.

The other speakers included Ryan Cirino (gymnastics), Colin Clews (cycling), Chloe Essam (netball), Matthew Hoggard (cricket), Craig Mackail-Smith (football), Geordan Murphy (rugby union) and Kayna Penrose-Toms (rugby union).

Each speaker was interviewed for around 10 minutes with Linton welcomed on stage with a showing of the fantastic video of our Playoff Finals Weekend success.

He spoke about that famous weekend, his career in hockey and his hopes for the future.

Following a short intermission, the eight sports stars returned to the stage together to answer questions from the audience.

The Panthers would like to thank Angela and the team at Rutland & Stamford Sound for their invite and for allowing us to be part of such a great night.
