Forward Matt Marcinew looks ahead to the season getting under way officially this weekend and reflects on the pre-season campaign.

Cardiff Devils visit the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (13th September) in the Challenge Cup (19:00 face-off), with the game sponsored by Switch Up.

The cup action continues on Sunday (14th September) as Panthers travel south to face Guildford Flames (18:00 face-off).

Pre-season came to end for Panthers on Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over Coventry Blaze on Lower Parliament Street.

Matt Marcinew, David Noël, Zsombor Garát and Ollie Betteridge were all on target and it was another fantastic crowd with over 5,000 people in the building for a third successive weekend of pre-season.
