Nottingham Panthers forward Matt Marcinew chats to Panthers TV about the weekend's action and reflects on Wednesday's dramatic overtime Challenge Cup victory at arch-rivals Sheffield Steelers.
Marcinew scored in regulation-time as Steelers led 4-1 in the second leg after Panthers won 3-0 in the first game in Nottingham a week ago.
It meant overtime between the two big rivals and Bryan Lemos was the game-winning goal hero to send Panthers to the 2026 Challenge Cup Final.
The Panthers #8 admits the team did not perform at their best, but also talked about the character shown to secure the victory.
Marcinew also looks ahead to Saturday's home game with Manchester Storm in the Elite League which has now officially sold-out.
