The Nottingham Panthers have made a number of new appointments to the club's media output.

The Panthers are thrilled to announce a partnership with Visionmix Productions to produce the webcast and matchnight screen content for the 2022-23 season.

Visionmix have been covering ice hockey in the UK since 2011 and also work with the Elite League, Sheffield Steelers and Great Britain.

The company produced one of the Panthers’ first live streams back in 2015 and were also behind the webcasts at the history-making Continental Cup final in Ritten in 2017, as Nottingham became the first UK side to win a European trophy.

Visionmix effectively moved into the Motorpoint Arena for the Elite Series which Panthers won in 2021, played behind-closed-doors because of the pandemic.

Panthers CEO, Omar Pacha, said: “Dave, Liam and the team at Visionmix are highly regarded across the EIHL and it was a no-brainer to bring them on-board.

“There is no media company more experienced in UK ice hockey than Visionmix and it’s brilliant to have them producing our live content and other media output across the season."

The Panthers would like to thank Matt and Mark at Lace Market Media for all their hard work in the past eight years in producing fantastic video content and providing the content in the arena on matchnights, as well as James Brandon who stepped down as webcast commentator at the end of last season.

This year’s commentary will be led by Jono Bullard and former Panthers netminder Dan Green.

Pacha added: “In Jono Bullard, we have a person who has a great connection with our fanbase and I think he’s the perfect fit to lead our webcast commentaries.

“Dan Green will once again provide the colour commentary and bring his 20 years of experience as a hockey player to the broadcast.

“Greener plays a big role in this club off the ice in various roles and his insight into the game is a key part of our media output.”

Tomorrow's game against Sheffield will be shown live on a webcast. Click here to purchase.

Meanwhile, there have been changes to the day-to-day media output of the club.

Chris Ellis has joined the Panthers as Head of Media and Communications, while Sophie Rouse will lead the club’s social media content.

Jono Bullard will also provide support to the media team throughout the season.

Pacha said: “It is great to add Chris and Sophie. Their content during a short period of time when asked to join the club has been nothing but superb.

"After watching their work together for GB this past World Championship, they offered superb content and had great chemistry.

"I know our new media team will adopt our gold-standard mentality."

The Panthers would like to thank Dan Kerry who has departed from his role. He was a dedicated staff member for the past five years and undertook many important roles. We wish him all the best.
