Nottingham Panthers forward Spencer Naas talks about the start of training camp at the Motorpoint Arena.
The players have been arriving in Nottingham over the past few days and Induction Day took place on Monday, followed by the first offical training session on Tuesday.
Naas spent the past three seasons as Alternate Captain with Dundee Stars, scoring at over a point per game with 146 points (65+81) in 143 regular-season matches.
In his first season in Dundee in 2023/24 he led the league with 32 goals in 54 games and quickly became a fans' favourite on Tayside. In 2024/25, he also had a stint with German DEL2 side EHC Freiburg.
Naas said: "The vibe has been great so far, the energy is good and we'll all excited to get going.
"I am very grateful to be here, to wear the logo and to represent the team and the city.
"That's something everyone feels throughout the room. We want to do the fans proud."

Approaching a sell-out on Sunday
Pre-season gets under way on Sunday (16:00 face-off) with the visit to the Motorpoint Arena of French top-flight side Ducs d'Angers, which sees the return of former coach Jonathan Paredes who coached the Panthers with distinction in the 2023/24 campaign.
The game will also see a return for former netminder Alex Dubeau who played for the Panthers in the 2022/23 season.
