Nottingham Panthers host Coventry Blaze in the Elite League on New Year's Eve at the Motorpoint Arena in the final game of 2025.

The game - which is sponsored by GVL Recovery - is sold-out and anticipation is high for the visit of our Midlands rivals.

If you weren't lucky enough to get a ticket for tonight, you can follow the action live on our Panthers TV webcast which can be purchased here.

Panthers go into the game on the back of three points out of four from the festive matches against Sheffield Steelers.

A 4-3 overtime defeat in Sheffield on Boxing Day was followed by a superb come-from-behind 4-3 victory on Lower Parliament Street on Saturday.

The Blaze currently occupy the final playoff spot in eighth with 15 points from 23 matches which has included six victories.

Coventry have lost their past seven matches, although five of them have been by just one goal and two went to a shootout.

Led by former Panthers Assistant Coach Kevin Moore, they've shown they can be dangerous on the road and won 3-1 in Sheffield earlier this month.

View from the Bench
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "We're gearing up for a battle. We know they will be as tough a test as anyone we've played recently.

"Regardless of the standings, we know that when a team's at their best in this league they can beat you if you're not ready to go."
