OLLIE ON TARGET FOR GB IN NOTTINGHAM
Nottingham Panthers forward Ollie Betteridge was on target for Great Britain in Saturday's 4-1 win over Italy at the Motorpoint Arena.
A sold-out crowd saw GB go head-to-head with the long-time rivals to secure victory in game two of the four-match series.
Betteridge scored GB's third goal with a neat backhand finish through the five-hole.
Johnny Curran - who had a stint with the Panthers last season and won the Continental Cup - wrapped up the success with an empty-net goal.
Earlier, Nottingham-born Jack Hopkins put GB ahead and David Clements was also on target in a successful first period.
