PANTHERS AND NOTTINGHAM TRENT UNIVERSITY RENEW PARTNERSHIP

Nottingham Panthers are proud to confirm the renewal of our partnership with Nottingham Trent University.
This special partnership - which is now in its second season - means Panthers players will again attend the the university's business school to study a postgraduate degree.
Nottingham Business School (NBS), part of Nottingham Trent University, is one of a small number of business schools globally to achieve the “triple crown” of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA accreditation – a recognition held by only around one per cent of business schools worldwide.
NBS is a leader in experiential learning and personalisation of business, management and economics education and research, combining academic excellence with positive impact on people, business and society.
It has an unrivalled level of engagement with business, public and voluntary organisations. The school is a PRME Champion and held up as an exemplar and beacon by the United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME).
Panthers CEO, Omar Pacha, said: "It's an honour to be linking-up with Nottingham Trent University again. Nottingham Business School is known throughout the world and we are very lucky to have them on our doorstep in the city.
"The Panthers and Nottingham Trent University share the same values and the partnership is so important to us as a hockey club. Having them on-board helps us attract top-class talent and retain our best players.
"The facilities at Nottingham Business School are world-class and it's a great environment for our players to study in. I'd like to thank Baback and the team at Nottingham Business School for their support and we look forward to working again with them this season."
Executive Dean of Nottingham Business School, Professor Baback Yazdani, said: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Nottingham Panthers for a second season.
"This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting elite athletes in developing the skills and knowledge to succeed beyond their sporting careers.
“It’s been inspiring to see Panthers players thriving both on the ice and in the classroom, and we look forward to building on that success in the year ahead."
