It's a battle for second place on the final day of the regular-season as Nottingham Panthers host Cardiff Devils at the Motorpoint Arena (16:00 face-off).
The game - which is sponsored by Lake Energy - is sold-out and it's a very special occasion with it being our Fan Appreciation Game as we thank YOU, our amazing #PanthersNation, for your unwavering support this season.
This weekend began with three teams battling it out for second spot but despite their 8-1 victory over Glasgow Clan last night, the highest Sheffield Steelers can now finish is third.
Led by two goals from Tim Doherty, Panthers won 4-3 on the road at Manchester Storm on a feisty night in Altrincham which saw seven players thrown-out.
Cardiff beat Coventry Blaze 2-1 with Josh MacDonald scoring the game-winner on the powerplay in the second period.
As Panthers and Devils battle it out on Lower Parliament Street, the Steelers will end their regular-season campaign on the road at Glasgow Clan.
The Elite League table looks like this going into the final day...
| Elite League table | Games | Points |
| Belfast Giants | 53 | 82 |
| Cardiff Devils | 53 | 73 |
| Nottingham Panthers | 53 | 72 |
| Sheffield Steelers | 53 | 71 |
