Nottingham Panthers are excited to launch SeatSwap, a brand-new initiative giving season ticket holders the opportunity to receive something back when they are unable to attend selected home games.

Under the club’s Season Ticket Terms & Conditions, season ticket holders are not permitted to sell their season ticket, or individual game tickets included within their season ticket, through unofficial channels.

The club, unfortunately, is aware of instances where supporters have been left out of pocket when buying tickets through unofficial sources.

SeatSwap provides a safe and official platform, giving both the seller and the supporter purchasing the seat the reassurance that everything is being handled through official club channels.

The new scheme will be activated for selected fixtures when ticket availability becomes limited.

Season ticket holders who are unable to attend will be able to make their seat available for resale and, if successfully sold, receive SeatSwap credit which can be accumulated and redeemed against Panthersland vouchers or Nottingham Panthers home webcast codes.

Panthers CEO, Omar Pacha, said: “This is something we have wanted to introduce for our season ticket holders for some time. We know there are occasions throughout a season when people simply cannot make a game and, until now, there hasn’t been an official way for them to make their seat available and potentially receive something back.

“Our arena’s official ticketing partner does not currently offer season ticket resale functionality, so rather than wait for that to become available, we decided to develop SeatSwap independently.

"SeatSwap only has the ability to issue credit and, while we know the platform might not be perfect from day one and there may be things we need to adjust along the way, we believe this is a really positive first step and gives our season ticket holders an option they have never had before.

“We’ll be keeping a close eye on how the scheme works, listening to feedback from our supporters and looking at how we can continue to improve it. We would really encourage season ticket holders to get behind SeatSwap, use it when it is available and let us know what they think.

"Hopefully, as the scheme develops, we can introduce even more ways for supporters to benefit from their SeatSwap credit.”

When SeatSwap is activated, resold seats will be made available through the Motorpoint Arena online Box Office, giving more supporters the opportunity to attend games where availability is limited.

Season ticket holders will only receive credit if their seat is successfully resold and will receive confirmation by email once a sale has taken place.

If a seat is successfully resold, the following SeatSwap credit will be added to the season ticket holder’s account:

SeatSwap credit can be accumulated throughout the 2026/27 season and redeemed against Panthersland vouchers or Nottingham Panthers home webcast codes until 30th June 2027.
