Following Wednesday night's superb 4-2 win on the road at Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup, Nottingham Panthers turn attentions to Cardiff Devils at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday.

Victory for the Panthers lifted us to third in the Challenge Cup Group A table with 10 points from nine matches.

The top two teams qualify automatically for the knockout stages, with the third-placed team taking part in the Elimination Game.

Tim Doherty, Nolan Volcan, David Noël, and Zsombor Garát were all on target for the Panthers, while netminder Kevin Carr turned away 31 of the 33 shots he faced.

Such is the short turnaround, Panthers are straight back to training today (Thursday) to prepare for the weekend.

It will be another big night of action on Sunday (12th October) as Panthers host Cardiff in the first home game of the season in the Elite League (16:00 face-off).

The two sides met last weekend in Wales in the Challenge Cup, with Panthers skating to a 5-0 victory.
