PANTHERS SIGN BRITISH FORWARD FINLAY ULRICK

Nottingham Panthers have signed British forward Finlay Ulrick for the 2025-26 season.
The 25-year-old joins the Panthers after a season split between Sheffield Steelers and NIHL side Sheffield Steeldogs.
After beginning his junior career with Kingston and Sheffield, Ulrick left the UK and played for Northwood School in the USA from 2016 to 2019.
He returned home in 2019 to ice for Manchester Storm which included stints with NIHL sides Leeds Knights and Hull Seahawks.
In 2023-24, he amassed a huge 78 points (28+50) in just 53 regular-season games for the Seahawks, finishing as the team's second-leading points-scorer.
Panthers Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Finlay has good experience in our league already and has learnt to play the right way in Sheffield. He will come in and play a key depth role for us.
"He’s responsible off the puck and still developing at his age. We are excited to get him on board and feel he has some obvious upside on top."
Ulrick made 10 appearances for GB Under-18s, winning the gold medal in 2018 in Estonia as he scored six points (1+5) in five matches.
He also has five GB U20s caps to his name and was part of the silver medal-winning team in Lithuania in January 2020.
"I was looking at my options at the end of the season and when the chance to come to Nottingham came up I was very excited," said Ulrick.
"I had conversations with Omar (Pacha) and Danny (Stewart) and it just seems to be a great fit for me in how I play and what they are looking for.
"I have heard great things about the club in time in the Elite League with Manchester and Sheffield and, of course, I know how buzzing it is in the arena.
"The trajectory that Nottingham is on has been amazing to watch and to be able to join up and be part of it is a great honour."
