The Nottingham Panthers podcast crew give their tributes after Mitch Fossier announced his retirement from professional ice hockey on Thursday.
The 29-year-old arrived in November 2024 and made an immediate impact, which included scoring the game-winner in second overtime last season to help Panthers beat Cardiff Devils 4-3 to win the playoffs.
He scored in regulation-time and assisted on the overtime winner by Didrik Henbrant as Panthers won this season's Challenge Cup final by beating Coventry Blaze 3-2 at the Motorpoint Arena.

All-In Season Ticket
The All-In Season Ticket covers all Elite League regular-season games, all Challenge Cup home group games, as well as any subsequent home ties in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, a potential home Playoff quarter-final and all home pre-season matches played by the Panthers.
The All-In Season Ticket offers outstanding value for money and has been very popular since being introduced two years ago. All-In Season Ticket holders received a total of 37 games in the 2025-26 season and 38 games in the 2024-25 season on their season tickets.
There's an exclusive option for All-In Season Ticket holders of paying for their season ticket over nine months via direct debit.
26-Game Season Ticket
The 26-Game Season Ticket will, once again, cover 26 Elite League games next season.
This is a great value way of watching the Panthers with huge discounts on offer compared to purchasing standard matchnight tickets.
26-Game Season Ticket holders will have the option of paying for their season ticket over a seven-month direct debit.
