It was a thrilling night at the Motorpoint Arena as Nottingham Panthers beat Cardiff 3-2 in the Elite League.
Matt Alfaro and Matt Marcinew - on his return from injury - put Panthers 2-0 ahead but Devils roared back with two third-period goals.
The game ended in a shootout as Macinew, Mitch Fossier and Tim Doherty scored for the Panthers and Kevin Carr turned away all three attempts by Cardiff.
