Nottingham Panthers travel to Altrincham today to face Manchester Storm in the Challenge Cup (19:30 face-off).

It's the first of back-to-back games for the Panthers with the visit of Sheffield Steelers to follow tomorrow (Saturday 20th September) at the Motorpoint Arena (19:00 face-off).

The clash with the Steelers is virtually a sell-out with just a handful of single seats remaining. Click here to secure those final seats now.

Tonight's action is the second meeting between the two sides in three weeks after Panthers won 3-2 in pre-season in Altrincham.

Ross Armour and Tim Doherty were on target for the Panthers, while Ollie Betteridge scored the game-winner with just over three minutes remaining.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "It will be a hard-working and physical game, especially in Manchester.

"They play to the confines of that arena but maybe it's coming at the right time fo us.

"There's still some parts of our game that we need to improve and need to simplify and game like this can help us get there."

Panthers expect to ice a full roster of 20 players on the road against Manchester this evening.

The only absentee is captain Matt Alfaro as he continues his recovery from his post-season operation.
