Nottingham Panthers travel to arch-rivals Sheffield Steelers today as the two sides go head-to-head in Elite League action (19:00 face-off).

It's part one of a weekend double-header and tomorrow's clash at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham is already sold-out.

The weekend could go a long way to deciding the final standings with just two points currently separating the two sides in the table.

Second-placed Panthers have 66 points in 47 matches with Steelers in third with 64 points. Both sides are adrift of leaders Belfast Giants who have 74 points in 46 matches.

Panthers, of course, go into the game on the back of Wednesday's victory Challenge Cup Final victory over Coventry Blaze as Danny Stewart's side secured a 3-2 victory thanks to an overtime winner by Didrik Henbrant.

It was the second trophy of the season for the Panthers after securing the Continental Cup back in January.
