What a season the 2025/2026 campaign has been for Nottingham Panthers. Now let's break down the season and bring you the stats from the 73 competitive games this season.

The 73 games matches are broken down as 36 regulation wins, five overtime wins, four shootout wins, four overtime losses, two shootout losses, 21 regulation losses and one draw.

The team played 14 games in the Challenge Cup, 54 Elite League games, three IIHF Continental Cup games and two playoff games.

Three players were ever-present in the squad with Matt Spencer, Bryan Lemos and Ross Armour playing every game.

Kevin Carr played in 45 games, winning 29, playing 2,799 minutes, facing 1,340 shots, achieving a goals-against average of 2.25 and a save percentage of 0.922.

He secured four shutouts - against Coventry Blaze in the Challenge Cup on 28th September (33 shots), Cardiff Devils in the Challenge Cup on 5th October (48 shots), HK Mogo in the Continental Cup on 14th January (20 shots) and Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup on 18th February (26 shots).

Jason Grande played in 28 games, winning 16, playing 1,615 minutes, facing 771 shots, achieving a goals-against average of 2.82 and a save percentage of 0.901.

He secured three shutouts - against Fife Flyers in the Elite League on 15th October (21 shots), Manchester Storm in the Elite League on 13th December (38 shots) and GKS Katowice in the Continental Cup on 16th January (24 shots).

Over the whole competitive season, Panthers scored 248 goals at an average of 3.40 goals per games. They conceded 191 goals at an average of 2.62 goals per game.

Top goalscorers were Matt Marcinew and Chase Pearson with 26 goals each. Tim Doherty followed with 25 goals, Mitch Fossier scored 24 goals and Ross Armour scored 21 goals.

Tim Doherty led the team in assists with 42, Chase Pearson had 36 assists, Bryan Lemos 33, Davis Noël and Brendan Harris had 31 and Mitch Fossier had 30.

In overall points, Tim Doherty was number one with 67 points, then came Chase Pearson with 62, Mitch Fossier with 54, Matt Marcinew with 52 and David Noël with 50.

In shots-to-goals conversion, Mitch Fossier was top scoring 24 goals from 108 shots on goal for a 22.22% conversion rate. Second was Johnny Curran who scored three goals from 14 shots for a 21.43% conversion rate.

Hungarian international Zsombor Garát led the team in plus/minus for a second consecutive season, achieving +38 over the campaign. Both Matt Marcinew and Didrik Henbrant were +25 while Bryan Lemos was +24.

On the powerplay, Panthers scored 46 powerplay goals from 207 chances. A conversion rate of 22.22%. Ross Armour led the team in powerplay goals with nine, followed by Tim Doherty and David Noël with seven.

On the penalty-kill, Panthers shut down 145 of 184 powerplays against them for a penalty-kill of 78.80%. The team scored six short-handed goals over the campaign with Matt Alfaro, Brendan Harris, Didrik Henbrant, Bryan Lemos, Chase Pearson and Nolan Volcan all scoring one each.

On face-offs, Panthers won 2,195 of the 4,253 face-offs they took, a win rate of 51.61%. Bryan Lemos won 638 of the 1,112 face-offs he took at a rate of 57.37%. Lemos also deserves special mention for winning 39 of the 43 face-offs he took during the Continental Cup, a success rate of 90.70%.

So that is the comprehensive look at Nottingham Panthers statistics over the 2025/2026 season. However, we have saved the best statistic for last.

Nottingham Panthers finished the season with two pieces of silverware, winning the IIHF Continental Cup in January for a second time in club history and the EIHL Challenge Cup in March for the ninth time in club history, both of which are British hockey records.
