Defenceman Josh Tetlow has signed a new contract to return to the Nottingham Panthers for a seventh season.
The 27-year old has made 354 appearances for the club since first joining in 2017 and was named as Panthers' British Player of the Year last season.
Tetlow missed just one Elite League game in 2024-25 and played all four matches in the post-season as Panthers beat Cardiff Devils 4-3 in second overtime to secure the 2025 playoff title at the Motorpoint Arena.
The blueliner has just returned from Romania where he helped Great Britain win the gold medal and promotion to the 2026 World Championship in Switzerland.
Tetlow said: "Last season was the most fun year I've had being a Panther. We had a great group of guys. It's just a no-brainer to return.
"Winning was amazing. That last game (against Cardiff) is still a bit of a blur but I think we really deserved it. We were great all season.
"Myself, Ollie (Betteridge) and Kels (Jordan Kelsall) have always said we want be part of building something. Winning last season was the first step.
"With the other returning guys, we really are building a foundation going into next season and I think that's huge."
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Tets is one of our core guys. He’s a big presence in the locker room and an ultimate team-first guy. Getting him back - along with Kels and Ollie - gives us part of our heartbeat back.
"These three have bled for this club through and through. They play an integral part in helping new faces come in and driving what it means to play for the Panthers.
"Tets is coming off a great year on the ice. He’s a huge part of our penalty-kill and consistently commits to defending the right way. He puts his body in front of everything and pays the price every night. He will play a big part in driving the club forward next season."
Signing news in association with GVL Recovery.
