Nottingham Panthers Head Coach Danny Stewart reflects on his side's Continental Cup success after a 4-2 victory over Torpedo in the Gold Medal Game at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday night.
The victory means Panthers became the first UK side to with the prestigious European trophy for a second time.
Goals from Matt Spencer, Bryan Lemos, Cooper Zech and Zsombor Garát ensured a passionate crowd of over 6,000 went home thrilled.
Stewart said: "I'm proud of these guys and it's something they will remember forever. They are just a great group of guys and it's so good for the city.
"On the back of last year hopefully we can keep this momemtum going and hoist a couple more.
"The physicality we played with, the commitment to defending and the small details - that's why they're lifting the trophy."
