Attention now turns to Friday as Nottingham Panthers host Manchester Storm at the Motorpoint Arena (19:00 face-off).
Panthers will go into the game on the back of a three-point weekend from games against Belfast Giants and Coventry Blaze.
A point on Friday night against Belfast was followed by an impressive 5-2 victory over the Blaze on Saturday evening.
There were five different goalscorers for the Panthers with Didrik Henbrant, Chase Pearson, Mitch Fossier, Brendan Harris and Ross Armour all on target.
Netminder Kevin Carr turned away 21 of the 23 shots he faced and now has a 93.89 save percentage in league play.
The Storm have made an impressive start to their Elite League season with 10 points from seven matches.
Their good run of form has included victories over Fife Flyers (twice), Dundee Stars (twice) and Glasgow Clan.
