The Motorpoint Elite League season gets under way on Saturday for the Nottingham Panthers with the visit of Manchester Storm to the Motorpoint Arena (19:00 face-off).
The arena is already well over three-quarters full for the first league game of the season so you are urged to secure your seats now to avoid disappointment.
The two sides met just over a week ago in Challenge Cup action in Nottingham with Panthers skating to a 4-3 victory following a penalty shootout.
Miikka Pitkänen opened the scoring and there were two goals for Ben Corbeil as the game ended 3-3 after regulation-time.
After no goals in overtime, Tim Doherty scored the only goal of the shootout while Mat Robson turned away all five of Storm's attempts.
Manchester will arrive in Nottingham fresh from their 5-3 victory on the road at Coventry Blaze on Saturday.
Kyle Maksimovich scored a hat-trick for the Storm in their success in the Skydome and there were also goals for Brandon Cutler and Brad Jenion.
Saturday's home game against Manchester is part of a two-game weekend which also sees Panthers travel to Cardiff Devils for Challenge Cup action on Friday night (19:00 face-off).
Panthers and the Devils met twice in pre-season with a win each on their respective home ice.
Devils away on Friday before the Motorpoint Elite League home opener on Saturday against the Storm - a game sponsored by Lincs Air Testing.
It's going to be another big weekend!
