Nottingham Panthers forward Tim Doherty chats to Panthers TV about Sunday night's dramatic 3-2 victory over Cardiff Devils at the Motorpoint Arena.
Doherty set-up captain Matt Alfaro for the opening goal of the night before Matt Marcinew - on his return from injury - made it 2-0 in the second period.
Cardiff scored twice in the third period and after no goals in overtime the game was settled in a shootout.
Netminder Kevin Carr turned away all three Cardiff attempts and Marcinew and Mitch Fossier scored for the Panthers.
Doherty scored the winning goal in the shootout to secure Panthers the extra point.
The Panthers #17 reflects on the victory and also looks ahead to Wednesday's Challenge Cup semi-final second leg on the road at Sheffield Steelers.
Panrthers lead 3-0 from the first leg at the Motorpoint Arena last Wednesday.
