Nottingham Panthers host Manchester Storm tonight (Wednesday 1st April) at the Motorpoint Arena (19:00 face-off) with the battle for second place still very much up for grabs.

The game is sponsored by WAGO and two vital Elite League points are on the line as Panthers are in the hunt for second with Sheffield Steelers and Cardiff Devils.

Just three points separate the three sides with Cardiff in second on 69 points, Sheffield in third on 69 points and Panthers in fourth on 68 points.

Cardiff and Sheffield are also in action tonight with the two sides going head-to-head in Wales.

There's very limited tickets remaining for Panthers against Storm this evening, so you are urged to secure your seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Storm are in their own battle for playoff positions and could finish anywhere from fifth to eighth, but most likely are in a battle with Guildford Flames for fifth place.

Manchester, who currently occupy fifth spot, have 61 points from 51 matches - a point ahead of the Flames who have 60 points in 52 games.

View from the Bench
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "We want to end the season on a high so the three remaining regular-season games have something riding on them.

"Second place is something that is important to us and it's also about being ready for playoffs.

"We know the dangers Manchester can bring right across their whole roster and we have to be ready for them."

Forward Matt Alfaro will miss the game tonight as he continues his recovery from a lower-body injury.
