After a 5-1 victory against Dundee Stars on Wednesday, Nottingham Panthers head into the weekend to face Glasgow Clan at home on Saturday night (19:00) and then travel to face Challenge Cup final opponents Coventry Blaze at the Skydome Arena on Sunday (17:30).
The Clan will arrive in Nottingham on Saturday after Friday night action with Guildford Flames at the Braehead Arena on Friday night.
Clan have been in good form recently, taking seven points in their past five games with three wins, a shootout loss and a regulation loss prior to the game against Guildford.
Former Steeler Brett Neumann is in great form for Glasgow currently, scoring eight goals and five assists in his past eight games. Former Panther Joe Hazeldine is on a three-game point streak with four assists in those three matches.
For Panthers, Matt Marcinew’s point-streak is now up to 12 games with nine goals and seven assists after scoring the opener against Dundee Stars on Wednesday night.
On Sunday, Panthers travel to the Skydome to take on Coventry Blaze who they will face in the Challenge Cup Final on Wednesday 18th March.
Blaze have been in excellent form in 2026, taking 27 points from 36 available so far and also achieving two regulation-time wins against Belfast Giants in the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Panthers have won all three games in Coventry so far this season, but the overall series of seven games in 2025/26 has Nottingham with five wins to Coventry’s two.
Matt Marcinew is Panthers leading scorer against Blaze this season with three goals and six assists, with Chase Pearson one point behind him with three goals and five assists.
For the Blaze, Alessio Luciani is their man in form with five goals in his past five games, while fellow forward Grayson Constable is on a three-game point streak with two goals and an assist.
Another big weekend of hockey awaits as Panthers strive to stay in touch with Elite League leaders Belfast Giants at the top of the table.
