After the thrilling game in Sheffield on Wednesday night - which saw Nottingham Panthers advance to the Challenge Cup Final with an overtime winner from Bryan Lemos - it's a return to league action with games at home to Manchester Storm on Saturday (19:00) and away at Guildford Flames on Sunday (18:00).
Panthers will be looking to halt the progress of a buoyant Storm side who beat the Panthers 5-1 in Altrincham last Saturday and have taken points in eight of their past 10 EIHL games, which sees them sitting seven points behind fourth-placed Panthers in the EIHL standings.
Previous meetings between the two sides at the Motorpoint Arena this season sees both sides with a victory each - Storm winning the Challenge Cup group game 6-3 on 4th October, while Panthers won 6-2 in the Elite League on 7th November.
In all games against the Storm this season, Bryan Lemos and Jarod Hilderman lead points-scoring with Lemos on 3+2 and Hilderman on 0+5.
Brady Gilmour is the man in form for Storm with two goals and three assists in his past four games, while defenceman Nick Welsh has one goal and four assists in his past four games.
The following day Panthers travel to the Spectrum in Guildford to take on the Flames for the eighth time this season. Flames currently sit in seventh place in the EIHL, two points behind Coventry Blaze and five behind Manchester Storm.
There have been three games at the Spectrum so far this season. Flames have won 5-2 in the Challenge Cup on 14th September and 5-4 when the teams last met on 25th January. Panthers won their opening EIHL game in Guildford - 6-1 on 24th September.
Chase Pearson really enjoys playing against Flames as he has five goals and six assists in the six games he has faced Guildford. Bryan Lemos has two goals and five assists against his former club.
Flames defenceman Jamal Watson is on a three-game point streak for Guildford (1+4) while forward Cole Ully has six goals and eight assists in his last 10 games.
It is another big weekend for Panthers as they look to push on in the league and close the gap on Belfast Giants, but it will not be easy against two competitive team in Storm and the Flames.
