Zsombor Garát speaks to Panthers TV about how his family's love for Nottingham was key to returning for a third season.

The 28-year-old is now a three-time winner with the Panthers as the 2024-25 playoff success was added to last season by winning the Continental Cup and Challenge Cup.

The defenceman was once again one of the top performers last season, finishing with seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points in 47 Elite League matches, leading the team in plus-minus with +28.

He scored two vital goals in the Continental Cup Final at the Motorpoint Arena. After being on target in the 4-0 victory over Riga in game one, the blueliner scored the empty-net goal in the Gold Medal Game to help secure the trophy with a 4-2 win against Torpedo.

Garât has quickly become a popular player on and off the ice, with supporters, players and staff at the Motorpoint Arena.

He talks about how that bond was key in him and his family returning to Nottingham.

Garát also discusses the trophy successes, his desire to win a league title and his pride at helping Hungary remain in the top division of the World Championship.
