The Nottingham Panthers were beaten 5-1 on-the-road by Dundee Stars in the Elite League on Sunday night.

Panthers were without Josh Tetlow and Ollie Betteridge, while Myles McGurty also missed the trip to Scotland after picking-up an injury last night.

Mike Robinson started between the pipes with Rok Stojanovic as back-up.

The hosts went ahead on the powerplay through Ryan Valentini's blast into the top corner (16:25) and Spencer Naas made it 2-0 when he slotted home a rebound (25:59).

Didrik Henbrant put away his own rebound to close the gap (28:40), but Stars regained their two-goal lead when Valentini chased down the puck and fed Naas for his second (37:50).

Craig Garrigan won the puck behind the net and set-up Jonathan McBean for Dundee's fourth (52:27), before Craig Moore fed Anthony Rinaldi to complete the scoring (58:22).
