Nottingham Panthers legend - and former player and coach - Paul Adey was Guest of Honour on Saturday night at the Motorpoint Arena.

Two of his former clubs went head-to-head on Retro Night with a short-benched Panthers coming up just short against Sheffield Steelers.

The Panthers wore jerseys from the 96-97 season - a year when Adey helped the club win the Benson & Hedges Cup.

Adey was part of the pre-game ceremony ahead of face-off and then joined the Panthers TV webcast team for a chat in the second intermission.

Two-game Easter weekend at home
After today's game in Cardiff, the Panthers return to Nottingham ahead of a two-game home weekend.

Panthers host Coventry Blaze on Saturday 30th March (7pm) and Glasgow Clan on Monday 1st Aptil (4pm).

There's a two-game bundle on sale offering discounted prices on a standard gamenight ticket.
