BJORKUNG READY TO CONTRIBUTE AT BOTH ENDS OF ICE

New signing Victor Bjorkung says he's ready to contribute at both ends of the ice for The Nottingham Panthers.

The 30-year-old Swedish defenceman - who has extensive experience across Europe - has signed a deal at the Motorpoint Arena for the 2023-24 season.

Bjorkung led the scoring for defenceman in goals (14) in Denmark and added 17 assists for 31 points for Hvidovre Fighters in 2017-18.

He's played in the top leagues in Denmark, Norway and Slovakia, as well as the highly-rated Allsvenskan league in Sweden.

Bjorkung chats to Panthers TV - in association with Jeremias Chimney Systems - about what attracted him to Nottingham, as well as his experiences of playing hockey across Europe.

He also talks about how he thrives on his responbilities on the backend as well as putting up points for his team.
