NETMINDER KEVIN CARR RETURNS TO PANTHERS

Experienced netminder Kevin Carr has returned to the Nottingham Panthers for the 2025-26 season.
It's a third spell in black and gold for the 35-year-old who previously played in the pandemic-hit 2019-20 campaign, as well as the 2021-22 season.
Ontario-born Carr began his professional career in North America and has played 233 games in the ECHL over a seven-year period.
In 2023-24, Carr iced for Dundee Stars and has also played in Croatia and Norway since turning professional in 2014.
Last season, the netminder played for DEL2 side Selber Wölfe where he posted an impressive .919 save percentage.
Carr was a huge fans' favourite during his two previous stints with the Panthers. He posted seven shutouts across 84 Elite League games, including a league-high four in the 2019-20 campaign.
He helped the Panthers win the silver medal in the 2020 Continental Cup, posting a phenomenal 1.96 goals-against average and a .945 save percentage.
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Getting Kevin solidifies our goaltending team and gives us a great amount of depth He’s an experienced pro, has been in the league before and has been with the club a couple different times so knows what to expect.
"He’s a guy that has constantly been above .900 no matter what team he’s been on. He gives you a chance to win when he’s in net. He will create a great support cast to Jason and be a great influence on Luca."
Carr said: "I am so excited to be coming back to the Panthers. Two of the most favourite seasons of my career have been spent in Nottingham.
"I felt we had a winning team in the covid year. We were shaping well for playoffs and, of course, we came so close to winning the Continental Cup.
"I want to win with the Panthers. It was so good to see last season's playoff success. I know the team are hungry for more silverware and so am I."
Carr will wear the number 37 jersey again for the Panthers this season.
