PANTHERS HOST GIANTS IN THE ELITE LEAGUE
🎟 SATURDAY: PANTHERS v GIANTS - BUY TICKETS 🎟
The Nottingham Panthers host Belfast Giants at the Motorpoint Arena this evening in a massive Elite League encounter (7pm face-off).
The Giants won 5-2 on-the-road at Manchester Storm last night with Ciaran Long, Mark Cooper, Colby McAuley, Scott Conway and Steven Owre all on target.
Panthers beat Storm in their last outing - a 5-4 victory at the Motorpoint Arena last Sunday to secure a place in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Head Coach, Gary Graham, said: "Belfast have a lot of depth and have a great-skating d-core.
"They play on top of you. There's not a lot of time and space when you play these guys.
"You have to take care of the puck and try and get things in behind them. You have to win races with them."
Team News
The Panthers will be without netminder Alex Dubeau with an upper body injury.
Defenceman Duggie Lagrone is also unavailable as he sits out the last game on injury reserve.
Remembrance Game and Retired Jerseys
It's our annual Remembrance Game and the players will wear special poppy warm-up jerseys and there'll be a pre-game ceremony to remember all those who have served their country.
We will also be unveiling our new retired jersey banners in tribute to Panthers legends throughout the club’s history.
Win with the Panthers
There's plenty of prizes on offer tonight including the excitement of Chuck-a-Puck. If you land your puck closest to Paws at centre ice, you win a £100 voucher to spend in Ice Locker on Panthers merchandise. Pucks cost £1 each and can be purchased in the foyer. Chuck-a-Puck takes place at the start of the second intermission.
Tickets for the Fifty50 raffle - in association with Temple Printing - are sold in the foyer and around the rink for £1 each. The lucky winner will go home with a fantastic cash prize.
The Shirt Off His Back raffle is also £1 and check out the sellers in the foyer and around the concourse. The winner gets to choose the shirt they want and the player will take it off their back and present it to them on the ice after the game.
If you aren't successful in either prize draw, please make sure you keep your tickets. All tickets from both draws are put back into the hat for the second-prize draw and the winner will be announced on our social media channels and website later this week.
Webcast
Tonight's game will be shown live on a Panthers TV webcast, so we've got you covered if you can't be in the Motorpoint Arena.
Join Jono Bullard and former Panthers netminder Dan Green for all the action from just ahead of the 7pm face-off.
