The Nottingham Panthers get their playoff campaign under way this evening with Guildford Flames visiting the Motorpoint Arena in the first leg of the quarter-finals (7pm face-off).

The game - sponsored by The Legend Pub - is the first part of a massive weekend with the second leg taking place at The Spectrum in Guildford tomorrow (6pm).

Head Coach, Corey Neilson, said: "Guildford are such a great team and we know where their strengths are.

"They are a quick team and are coached really well. They will be a real threat all weekend.

"We've had a great week of practice and the boys are really up for it. They know this is a new start for them.

"They are determined to make amends for a tough league season and they're focused on the task in hand."
