Nottingham Panthers travel to Manchester Storm this evening for the final away game of the regular-season (19:00 face-off).

Panthers are in a battle with Cardiff Devils and Sheffield Steelers for second place with just two points separating the three sides.

Danny Stewart's side know that two regulation-time victories this weekend will guarantee second spot.

Defenceman, Jakob Stridsberg, told Panthers TV: "It's important before the playoffs to get momentum.

"We know going to Manchester will be a tough game but it will prepare us for playoffs, so we're excited.

"We're fighting for second spot and it's tight up there and these are two important games this weekend."

Captain Matt Alfaro will miss game with a lower-body injury. There are a few other injury doubts on the roster and the final line-up will be named ahead of face-off.
