PREVIEW: PANTHERS TRAVEL TO CARDIFF
It's gameday for the Nottingham Panthers with a trip to Cardiff Devils in the Elite League this evening (19:00 face-off).
Panthers go to Wales as league leaders in the early-season table with nine points from a possible 10 in five matches, which includes four victories and one overtime defeat.
That defeat for the Panthers was to the Devils who have five points in three games, with both sides currently unbeaten in regulation-time.
Our last victory to Wales saw us skate to a 5-0 victory in the Challenge Cup with goals from Didrik Henbrant, Tim Doherty, Matt Marcinew, Mitch Fossier and Zsombor Garát.
Netminder Kevin Carr was in top form and made some outstanding saves in a 48-shot shutout

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "As we've seen already this season, Cardiff are a good side and have strengths all over the ice.
"They are well-coached and are a dangerous team especially on home ice.
"Our series against them so far has seen some intense battles and we are going to have to be focused for 60 minutes to get a good result."
