Nottingham Panthers have signed Canadian defenceman Darick Louis-Jean.
Despite only being 25, the 6'1 hard-hitting blueliner already has 257 ECHL games under his belt, scoring 19 goals and 77 assists for 96 points.
Louis-Jean linked up with NHL side Montreal Canadiens for their pre-season training camp last summer.
He went on to sign a two-way contract with Montreal's affiliate in the AHL, Laval Rocket, and split his time with them and their ECHL affiliate, Trois-Rivières Lions, last season.
