Paul Adey is perhaps The Nottingham Panthers most iconic player of all-time.

The forward came to the UK in 1988 & spent 11 years in the black & gold of the Panthers before heading to Italy for a season in 1999/00 but did return to these shores, only this time in the colours of arch-rivals Sheffield.

However, his final game in the UK was, fittingly, for the Panthers when, due to an injury crisis, he had to ice in one game during the 2003/04 season

Paul sits second all-time in the clubs goals (584), assists (520) & points (1104) scoring charts, behind only the great Chick Zamick, and any fans who were lucky enough to watch him inside the old Nottingham Ice Stadium will be able to regale you with tales of his exploits on the ice.

During his time with the Panthers, where he also spent time as the Head Coach between from 2001 to 2005, Paul won:

  • 1x BHL Playoff Championship (1988/89)
  • 2x BHL Autumn Cups (1991/92, 1994/95)
  • 2x B & H Cups (1996/97, 1998/99)
  • 1x Challenge Cup (2003/04)
