A crowd of over 6,000 is expected as Nottingham Panthers host Manchester Storm at the Motorpoint Arena this evening (Saturday 4th October).

Face-off on Lower Parliament Street is 19:00 and two huge Challenge Cup points are on the line as the battle for the top spots in Group A intensifies.

Tonight's game is sponsored by AR Signs and although you will be able to pay in-person at the Box Office ahead of face-off, you are urged to secure your seats as soon as possible.

Panthers are currently in fourth place in Group A with six points and the Storm are two points behind in fifth.

The top two sides automatically qualify for the knockout stages, while the third-placed team will face the second-placed team in Group B in the Elimination Game.

It's the first meeting between Panthers and Storm in Nottingham this season, but Panthers have won twice in Altrincham already.

A 3-2 win for Danny Stewart's in pre-season was followed by a 3-1 victory in the Challenge Cup last month.

View from the Bench
Panthers Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Manchester are a good team. They've got good goaltending.

"They're physical and have three good lines that can score. We've played good hockey against Manchester but they're a hard-working team

"There's no easy nights for any team and it will be a tough test for us."

Team News in association with Candid Digital
