British forward Ollie Betteridge will return to the Nottingham Panthers for the 2024-25 season.
The 28-year-old, who is a hugely popular member of the Panthers roster on and off-the ice, first iced for the club as a teenager in 2011-12 and signed his first full-time deal in 2015-16.
He's since made over 350 appearances, winning the Challenge Cup twice, the playoff title, the Continental Cup and the behind-closed-doors Elite Series.
Betteridge is currently away with Great Britain as they prepare for the World Championship in Prague which gets under way next weekend.
"It was a simple decision to sign a new deal," said Betteridge. "I love the club and I love playing for the amazing fans.
"With Otto (Nieminen) and Jordan (Kelsall) also already back, it's great we are building a core of players.
"I am looking forward to playing under Danny (Stewart). He has great experience in the Elite League and I feel he will be a good fit for us.
"I was frustrated to miss so much of the last campaign with injury and I can't wait to get going next season."
Panthers CEO, Omar Pacha, said: "It was important to get Ollie back at the club. He is a massive part of the Nottingham Panthers.
"He is part of a key core at this club and that's why re-signing him was high up the list of our priorities.
"He plays a 200-feet game and is relentless everywhere on the ice. He had some injury trouble this year and when he was out of the line-up we missed him massively.
"We are excited to have him on-board for the new season."
