Nottingham Panthers begin preparations for two games next weekend with action in both the Motorpoint Elite League and Challenge Cup.
Saturday will see Danny Stewart's side travel to Scotland to face Dundee Stars in the Motorpoint Elite League (19:00 face-off).
The Stars ended Cardiff's winning start to their league season last night as Dundee came from 2-0 down to take the game 3-2 in overtime.
Rasmus Nousiainen scored the game-winner in the extra period as the Stars secured their first leage win in five matches.
On Sunday, Panthers host the Devils in the Challenge Cup at the Motorpoint Arena and the game is sponsored by Wenham Specialist Finance.
It's all to play for in Group A. The top two teams qualify for the knockout stages with the team in third playing in the Elimination Game.
Sheffield Steelers currently top the group with 12 points in eight matches, with Panthers in second on 12 points from nine games. Cardiff are in third place with eight points in seven games.
Panthers go into the weekend on the back of three points from four in the Challege Cup.
Last night, a point was secured on the road in Coventry with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Blaze. Jaakko Niskala scored Panthers' goal during regulation-time.
On Saturday, Panthers secured a thrilling win against Sheffield Steelers as Danny Stewart's side came from 2-0 with just over five minutes remaining to win 3-2 at the Motorpoint Arena.
Tim Doherty scored for the Panthers in the second period, but Steelers led 2-1 deep in the third session.
Zsombor Garát buried a rebound at 54:48 and Ben Corbeil scored on the doorstep on the powerplay at 57:58 to lift the roof off a sold-out Motorpoint Arena.
SeatSwap scheme launched for Cardiff home game
We launched our new SeatSwap scheme last week, a brand-new initiative giving season ticket holders the opportunity to receive something back when they are unable to attend selected home games and it's been activated for the game against Cardiff.
These tickets will become available on the separate section on the ticket sales page on the Motorpoint Arena website as they are returned to the club, so it's worth checking throughout the week for availability.
Tickets are selling fast throughout the arena for the game and you're urged to secure your seats asap.
