Nottingham Panthers travel to Coventry Blaze in the Motorpoint Elite League on Saturday evening (19:00 face-off).

It's part one of a weekend double-header with the two sides also meeting in Nottingham on Sunday afternoon (16:00 face-off).

Panthers and Blaze have already met twice this season with both matches taking place in Group A of the Challenge Cup.

Danny Stewart's side won 4-3 in Nottingham while the Blaze skated to a 2-1 victory after a shootout in Coventry.

Coventry are coached by former Panthers Assistant Coach Kevin Moore who is now in his third season in charge of the West Midlands side.

The Blaze have played six games in the Motorpoint Elite League and sit fourth in the table with 10 points, losing just one game in regulation-time so far.

View from the Bench
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "I like playing back-to-back as you can put all your focus on one team. A lot of focus has to be one us too and us being a lot better.

"It doesn't matter what's happening in a game, Coventry always play 60 minutes. They keep coming, they keep playing and they work hard."
